Why It's Better Than The Bratz Movie[]

  1. Better storyline.
  2. More likable characters.
  3. There aren't any horrible musical numbers.
  4. There are moments in the film that are more amusing.
  5. The film was much more faithful to the source material.

Reception[]

The film was released on July 27, 2007 and currently holds an 88% "Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes with an average of 7.5 out of 10 and a critic consensus that reads "The Simpsons Movie contains the hearty laughs, biting satire, and honest portrayal of an American family that makes the show so popular. And it boasts slicker animation and polished writing that hearkens back to the show's glory days." Film critic Roger Ebert of The Chicago Sun-Times commented on the film "There's something about the Simpsons that's radical and simple at the same time, subversive and good-hearted, offensive without really meaning to be. It's a nice balancing act." His co-critic Richard Roeper stated that the film was "definitely worth your money."
